2. May 2026 Updates
- CCD Registration for 2026-2027: CCD Registration for 2026-2027 Academic year has now begun. Registration must be completed thru ParishOnNet. Please register your kids for CCD before the deadline.
- CCD Registration is Open to students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
- The registration fee is $80 per child.
- Please complete CCD Registration before Sunday, May 31.
- If facing any challenges to Register, Please reach out to Trustee's Office.

- Click 'Enroll my Family'.
- Select the Family members / Kids you want to enroll, and under 'Select session', select their grade for upcoming year.
- Review and update your contact information (Phone & Email).
- Answer the 'Required Consents' section.
- Verify & Update your billing details (Credit Card / Debit Card / Account number + Routing Number etc can be used).
- Complete your registration by submitting a payment.
- CCD Final Exam on Sunday, May 10: CCD Final Exam for 2025-2026 Academic Year will be conducted on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Please ensure your kids come prepared for the exam.
- Faith On Fire: High School Youth Council invites all High School Youth for 'Faith on Fire' - an evening of prayer, games and smores. Please see Flyer for more details.. Please RSVP using Link.
- Mother's Day 2026: Mother's day will be celebrated on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Let us take this opportunity to honor and pray for our mothers, thanking them for their countless sacrifices. A group picture of all Mothers will be taken after the first Holy Qurbana, followed by Breakfast served by Dads.
- May - Month of Dedication to Blessed Virgin Mary: May is the month of devotion to Mother Mary. Please recite 'Maathaavinte Vanakka Maasam' Prayers at your home. Those who don't have the Vanakkamaasam book, Please refer the Vanakkamaasam Prayers at this Link.
- Bible Bee Competition Updates: Bible Bee Competition for CCD students is completed successfully. Thank you to all parents who encouraged their kids to study Word of God. - Circular from our Bishop regarding Fund Raiser Raffle for Jubilee Convention: We have received a circular from our Bishop Mar Joy Alappatt, regarding a Raffle Fund Raising Program from the Diocese, to support Silver Jubilee Convention expenses. Please read the Circular (in English & Malayalam) and please support this effort.
- Pre Wedding Requirements - Important Notice: As members of the church, the Sacrament of Matrimony is a sacred covenant that requires proper spiritual, canonical and pastoral preparations. In order to ensure all necessary requirements and paper-works are fulfilled in a timely manner, we request the cooperation of families involved.
- Families are requested to contact Vicar immediately after any Nuptial arrangements / Proposals are done.
- Bride-to-be / Groom-to-be is required to meet the Vicar in-person and fill the Pre-Nuptial Form.
- Active Membership in Parish is required for proceeding with Paper-work required for Marriage, Betrothal or Baptism.
- Marriage Preparation Course (PreCana) Completion Certificate is required.
- Baptism Certificate and Confirmation Certificate is required.
- If you need to announce the Marriage Banns before Betrothal, there is another specific form to be filled.
- Camping Trip to Fort Parker State Park: Our Senior Ministry is organizing a camping trip to Fort Parker State Park. This will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy three days of fun, making new friends, outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, campfire gatherings, games and lots of fun activities.

- Annual Parish Picnic on Saturday, September 26: Our Annual Parish Picnic will be on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at One Eleven Ranch Park (2121 E Brand Rd, Garland, TX 75044). There will be food, games, and many other activities to engage with fellow parishioners. It's a great opportunity to meet and greet new members of our parish community. Please mark your calendars.
- Mega Margam Kali for Parish Thirunaal: We are planning to perform a Mega Margam Kali at our courtyard (Nadumuttam) during our 10 - day Parish Thirunaal (St. Thomas Feast) scheduled for Friday, June 26th to Sunday, July 5th, 2026. Encouraging all women of our Parish - Seniors, Adults, Young Adults, College and High School to participate and make this a real Mega event. - Syro-Malabar Jubilee Convention Updates:
- Jubilee Souvenir: As part of Jubilee celebrations, the Diocese will publish a Special Jubilee Souvenir, commemorating 25 years of our Eparchy and the Jubilee of Episcopal Ordination of Mar Jacob Angadiath.
- This is a wonderful opportunity to share your best wishes Or Promote your business through this meaningful publication.

- Special Tracks for Elementary & Middle School students will include age-appropriate sessions, interactive games and fun activities. A dedicated team is thoughtfully planning every detail to ensure a safe, enriching and memorable experience for all our young participants.
- "The King & I" - bi-weekly Bible study initiative - Registrations still open: "The King & I" is a new bi-weekly Bible Study initiative. Rooted in Catholic teaching, the sessions will focus on understanding the character and holiness of God, nurturing mental prayer and discovering the "Why" behind God's actions, following studies by Fr. Daniel Poovannathil, Gabriel Castillo and the Jeff Cavins Bible Timeline. With clear, simple teaching and guided discussion, participants will grow in trust and faith as they journey through Sacred Scripture together.

- Publishing the Contributions List: As decided in 2025 General Body Meeting and as agreed by both the previous and current Parish Councils, we will be publishing the members list along with their contribution amounts on Parish Notice boards.
- Church Pledge Payments: We kindly request all parishioners with pending pledges to make their payments as soon as possible. The suggested amount is $1,200 per family.

- Parish Feast / Thirunaal 2026 Updates: This year we will have 10 days Thirunaal Celebration, starting with Kodiyettu on Friday, June 26th to Sunday, July 5th. Cardinal Mar George Koovakad will be the main Celebrant on Saturday, July 4. This year we will have women Presudenthis. Stay tuned for more details.
